As a local family-owned and managed funeral business, it is our desire at Noyon’s Funeral Services to provide you with the best care and personal service we possibly can when it comes to arranging a funeral. Our aim is to undertake all the arrangements necessary to facilitate the funeral in
accordance with the instructions/wishes provided to us thus giving you the time to come to terms with your loss.
Our services will be tailor-made to suit each client in order to provide the funeral desired. Where we may be unable to directly assist with areas such as catering, floral or monumental services, we will provide you with contacts as necessary.
“Noyon’s Funeral Services” was established in 1942 by Ernest Hessel Noyon under the business name “E.H. Noyon”. As with most carpenters by trade at that time, Ernest was also an undertaker, making each coffin individually by hand.
In 2000, on his 80th birthday, Ernie passed the business to his eldest daughter Juliet and her
husband, Ken Carré. Both had been actively involved for a good many years prior to the handover and whilst now managing the business continue to uphold the standards that they were taught by Ernie, combining that with the need to move with the times, ie. website, Facebook page, Data Protection, Funeral Plans or being a member of a trade body as we are now (National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors "SAIF").
Like Ernie, Ken and Juliet engage, where possible, the professional services and assistance of family and friends for such tasks as bearers, drivers and name takers whilst always ensuring personal
attention at all times for the families in their care. They are now also supported by their three
children, Michelle, Sam and Simon as well as their respective partners.
So, many years after “E.H. Noyon” was established, we can proudly say that we are still a local family owned and managed funeral business and continue to provide that personal attention that is so important.
Accordingly, the business strapline “Our family looking after your family” is no word of a lie!
